For example, while the card offers $400 in Dell credits over the course of a year ($200 back semi-annually), that’s only valuable to you if you have a need for Dell products.
Looking at the benefits from this point of view helps you better understand whether the card is worth keeping over the long term.

Here’s how it works: if you use points to book a flight on your preferred airline, you receive a 35% rebate. So, if you use 100,000 points for a $1,000 flight, you get 35,000 back, effectively costing you only 65,000 points.
While this translates to approximately a 1.54 points redemption value (which is below average), it is helpful for flexibility, as you don’t have to worry about award availability.
