Companies often choose gift cards because they’re easy to distribute, cost-effective, and generally well-accepted. While you can’t directly redeem these gift cards for cash or deposit them into your bank account, there are a few options to consider:

1) Use the gift cards to purchase items you would have bought with cash anyway, effectively freeing up the cash in your budget.

2) Sell gift cards on gift card exchange websites such as Raise. You will likely receive less than the full value (around 90% in my experience).

3) Trade the gift cards with friends or family members for cash.

We’ve been hearing as well as the site has grown, the acceptance rate has gone done. Looking to update our review here soon.

As a point of comparison, I have applied for just over 2000 studies in the past year and a half and have been accepted for 66 studies, which is an acceptance rate of 3.28%. My average hourly rate works out to $32.84 per hour. For just 2022, I have applied to 1114 studies and been accepted for 41 studies for an acceptance rate of 3.68% and an equivalent hourly rate of $34.80 per hour. In calculating the hurly rate, I added the time I spent on the actual interviews (including prep time) and I assumed an average of 2 minutes per each survey I filled out. The actual time for per survey may actually be closer to one minute, so the hourly rate may be understated.

Hi David, our research and testing would suggest that half a dozen is way too few studies. As noted in the review, we applied to 100.

Unfortunately, no. We never recommend that users violate a site’s terms of service for a variety of reasons. And practically speaking, most platforms have systems in place to block people rom trying to circumvent their rules. We recommend sticking to an option that’s available where you live.
